Event Details
We are looking forward to seeing you at the 10th Annual Reindeer Run in
Boulder Creek on Thursday, December 24th, 2026!
The Reindeer Run will happen RAIN or SHINE.
(Water will just enhance the Boulder Creek experience!)
WHERE: The event will begin at Junction Park, located at 13264 Middleton Avenue, Boulder Creek.
WHEN: There are five heats. You can participate in whichever heat you wish, but please be aware that the earlier heats will have more runners than walkers.

9:00am - Runners: This is a competitive heat, but anyone can join in

10:00am - Animals and their humans, and everyone

EARLY BIB PICK-UP:

There will be several early Bib Pick-up opportunities this year! More information to come soon!
SIGN-IN:

Sign-in at Junction Park 15 minutes before your scheduled heat, so that we can ensure that everyone gets to the start line on time.

Do not sign-in more than 15 minutes before your heat since we will be signing in earlier heat participants.

Your friends can register on the day of the race. Please ask them to come 20 minutes early to give them enough time to register before their heat.

We will provide maps and put up signs that will keep you on the course.

We are currently working on improving the route for the 10th Annual Reindeer Run. We will have details by December 1, 2026.

SAFETY:

Safety is our number one priority. We plan on having more route monitors this year. Please stay tuned for details!
COSTUMES:
Costumes are very much encouraged! There will be prizes for best human and animal costumes in each heat.
ANIMALS:
We love seeing your animal companions. For those of you bringing animals, please make sure that you have control of your animal/s at all times and please clean up after them to make this event enjoyable for all participants and neighbors. We will have a prize for “Most Unique Animal” in the Animal heat at 10 am.

FOOD DRIVE:
The Reindeer Run is happy to announce that we will also be holding a FOOD DRIVE at the Reindeer Run event on 12/24. Please help us support the Valley Churches United Food Pantry by donating non-perishable food items!
